In this beginner’s course you will go from the very basics to carving beautiful ornaments on lindenwood, and by the end will be able to continue exploring the intricate world of chip carving with confidence.

We cover the principles of chip carving, basic geometric shapes, forming complex designs from them and of course keeping your knife sharp.

You will learn to: cut smoothly, consistently (and safely!), avoid mistakes in difficult spots and create your own patterns. You will also complete a small project of your own design.

The course will be held in English, we provide the knives and pieces of wood.

In this course you will work in a small group; maximum 6 students and a teacher. This way we can offer a lot of individual attention in a safe and organized environment.
